"even if Barack Obama were merely mediocre, simply based on the failures of the Republican Party to hold their president and vice president accountable for their lack of integrity (and/or intelligence) over these last eight years, I believe it’s high time for a change." He would choose a hyena over any Republican.
"But when you look at personal and public patterns of integrity over many years, Barack Obama shines and John McCain stumbles badly." Just because he says it doesn't make it true. I never see anyone list the supposed examples of his integrity that would constitute a pattern. I do however hear about him receiving significant contributions from Freddie Mac and seeking advice from the leaders of the big mortgage giants who managed to cook the books and bilk us all out of the cost of this bailout not to mention their compensation packages.
I certainly can't argue against the penalty box analogy. And that is really what it all boils down to, doesn't it? C'mon. It's okay. You can say it.
